COMPOSITE FILLINGS

There are many types of filling materials available today.  The most widely used are resin composite (or tooth colored) fillings and metal amalgam (or silver colored) fillings.  While each type of filling has its advantages and disadvantages, our doctors have chosen to utilize resin composite filling materials to repair decayed, cracked, or broken teeth.

Dental bonding is a cosmetic dental procedure in which a dentist uses a composite ceramic resin for a variety of cosmetic and structural purposes among which can be to repair chipped, broken, or decayed teeth, fill gaps, reshape teeth, and recolor them.  Dental bonding material comes in many shades and allows the dentist to match

A crown (or cap) is a dental restoration that covers or encases the entire surface of a tooth.  A crown is used to restore the size and shape of a tooth when it cannot be restored by fillings or other restorations.  There are several types of crowns, among which the porcelain (or tooth colored) crown

Porcelain Veneers

Change your smile more easily than ever with porcelain veneers.  Veneers are thin layers of tooth colored porcelain material that are bonded to your teeth to change their appearance.  The color, size, shape, spacing, and even alignment of your teeth can be changed with veneers.  They are placed with very little removal of tooth structure

Tooth Whitening

On a daily basis we expose our teeth to foods, beverages, and products such as tobacco that can cause staining.  Even with perfect dental hygiene, our teeth can eventually become discolored because the stains work their way into the tooth’s porous enamel, out of the reach of regular brushing and dental cleanings. 

Dental Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root (typically titanium) that is placed into the upper or lower jaw bone. The implant is used to support a crown to replace a missing tooth or to support a fixed alternative to removable dental appliances, such as partial dentures or complete dentures.

Root Canal Therapy

A tooth needs a root canal when the nerve inside the tooth is infected or inflamed due to decay or trauma. To save the tooth, the living tissue inside the tooth (called the pulp), which contains the nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue, is removed along with any decay. and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed.

Fixed Bridges

A bridge is a fixed non-removable dental appliance that is an excellent solution for replacing the gap created by one or more missing teeth. There are several types of bridges. The most popular type is the traditional bridge which is usually made of porcelain fused to metal. 

Invisalign

Invisalign is an alternative to traditional metal braces. The Invisalign system utilizes a series of clear, almost invisible, custom-molded aligners to gradually move and reposition your teeth. The aligners are easy and convenient to use.  Unlike traditional braces, there are no metal wires or bands to irritate your mouth. Best of all, most people won’t notice you are wearing them.
